In 1996, a small group of farmers from the region of Poniente Almeriense decided to create a Transformational Agriculture Society (SAT). Its aim was to gather together its members’ produce and market it more effectively.

Today, Dunamar SAT is a robust and well-known society that brings together over 100 local farmers and exports their produce to the most demanding markets around. This process of growth and consolidation has been made possible thanks to the firm commitment and absolute dedication shown by its members.

We are now so proud to be witnessing the torch being passed to the next generation, from these first members to their children, who are continuing to take part in this collaborative model and our shared efforts to grow and improve each day. Our society remains focused on overcoming new challenges and achieving new objectives, always centralising our members’ well-being, meeting their needs and helping them find stability and feel calm about the future.

As a farmer and member of the governing body, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of the members of Dunamar SAT for their daily efforts. This exciting project wouldn’t be possible without them.
